The museum provides a unique experience for intimate events. We are pleased to host your birthday party, bachelor/bachelorette party, company meeting, baby/wedding shower, launch event, fundraiser, office party, art exhibit, or whatever the occasion may be.

We recommend that any outside vendors visit once before the event date.
Policies and Suggestions

Decorating the event space is permitted provided the decorations do not damage anything in the event space, especially the Madame C.J. Walker memorabilia, the records in the WERDStudio collection, photos and posters on the wall, etc.

Please let us know if you are interested in listening to records in the WERDStudio collection and we will make arrangements for selecting, handling, and playing the records for your event.

You will be asked to sign a liability waiver.

If you wish, Ricci can be available during your event to deliver a brief presentation to your attendees on the history and significance of the space.
